A zealous and dynamic personality, Celebrity Master Chef Sabyasachi Dasmahapatra has been appointed as the new Executive Chef of The Ambassador Hotel, Mumbai commencing November 2020. An artistic culinary wizard, Chef Sabyasachi is an epitome of curating recipe with diversities of dishes for every palate.
Prior to this, he has worked with Radisson Hotel Group, ITC Welcome Hotel Savoy Mussorrie, Floatel – Eco-friendly Hotel in Kolkata, and many more as Executive Chef, and various other roles.
With an extensive and diverse experience for more than 19 years in the hospitality industry, Chef Sabyasachi is groomed with immaculate knowledge and expertise in food and beverage and culinary operations after a long spanning career.
Chef Sabyasachi is well-known for reviving the almost elapsed British Raj (Colonial) Cuisine to the main stream culinary platform. He introduced and familiarized a mouth-treat ‘Churrascaria’ (Brazilian Barbeque) & Passador (Meat Waiters) concept to City of Joy (Kolkata) which has been cherished and recognized by famous food critics, Mr. Nandan Bagchi and Mr. Vir Sanghvi.
With incisive experience in the Hotel Industry, he introduced ‘Fiesta and Organic Menu’ among well established food connoisseurs in his early professional carrier.
He has been a part in various food projects to contribute his culinary art with the culinary stalwarts-Chef Tarla Dalal, Chef, Cef Bobby Chin, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor & Chef Vikas Khanna to name a few.
At The Ambassador Mumbai, Chef Sabyasachi’s expertise in the food and beverage industry will further facilitate the hotel’s promise of delivering unique and gastronomical flavor combinations for all guests.
